This is it......

Murthanna said yes to my request. He moved to Mangalore for a week. Probably he had a good hibernation last X’mas. It was a wonderful treat for me too as he prepared many delicacies. Now that Anna was here, thought we would go on a spiritual voyage. Since it was also the mid-phase of ‘ಧನುರ್ಮಾಸ’, we had an early darshan of Godess Mangaladevi. We went ahead to Car Street, Lord Venkataramana was glorious to watch. Kudroli is a tourist attraction, was mesmerized by the temple architecture. We rode till Kateel, Godess Durgaparameshwari seemed to attract lot of devotees on the new year eve. It was a tiresome journey. By evening we were back in Ullal Somanatheshwara temple. “ರಾಣಿ ಅಬ್ಬಕ್ಕ ಓಡಾಡಿದ ಜಾಗ ಕಣೋ ಇದು”, Murthanna remembered. We were told that temple will resume for darshan only @ 6 PM. Since we were an hour ahead of time, decided to take a stroll in the Somanatheswara beach adjacent to the temple premises. I preferred to sit along the shore. Murthanna went ahead making some foot marks and took the pictures of the same.

I was one of those who saw the last sun of the year 2010. Me being landmarkian, thought I would complete 2010 and create a good future in 2011. Some part of the brain said, “Big deal, you have been only on the crating mode, sustenance wouldn't happen at all....”. There are lot of stuffs which I would taken on, but later seems to be a good idea to have and goes into the fantasy list or things to accomplish in the next course offered by Landmark Education.

As these thoughts were topsy-turvy, on the way back, saw a coconut tree [See Pic]. Immediate reaction was, “Oops, I don’t want to be like this. My life should be a fruitful one. I should reap a good yield out of my life. B$#@^y, one single life, and I should be all that I can be”.

ಜೀವನ ಸಾರ್ಥಕತೆ, ಪರೋಪಕಾರ, ತತ್ವಗಳು, ಮುಲ್ಯಗಳು all these resounded…….I gazed at the tree again only to find a couple of Raven sitting on the tip of the residual tree and sharing its prey. This churned another chunk of thoughts. ‘How would we ever be able to determine the degree of the fruitfulness of any creature’. This tree might be a paradise for many Ravens which would have/hunt its prey. “ತೂತು ಮಡಕೆ ಆಗಿದ್ದರು ಹೊಲ ಹಸಿರು ಗೊಳಿಸಲಿಲ್ವ”. I remembered the words of one of my coaches, “Who you are is WHOLE, COMPLETE and PERFECT. Nothing to fix…Nothing to change”. That answers a lot of question.
